This is my personal short fazit about “Grand Theft Auto III 10-Year Anniversary”

I played GTA3 long time ago on my PC and realy enjoyed it.
As i heard that Rockstar was Planing to bring for Android an iOS, i was realy happy.
Rockstar released the the game on 15th December 2011 for Android and iOS for 5€.
I bought it one release Date for my Motorola Xoom and iam realy happy that i did it.
After only one week Rockstar released two updates to fix bugs and make it compatible with the
Galaxy Nexus (i think it could be compatible with ICS on all supported devices, too)
and they droped the price from 5€ to 3€.

I think this game it work any cent of it.

It feels like playing the orinial old GTA3 on PC or Playstation, the first missions looks like exatly the same like on PC or PS.
Thats relay great, so you can use olde Guides to complete Missions if you have trubble to finish them.

I only tried a few but not all – the few i tried are working.

Today i like to present you “Ripple Lock”

“Ripple Lock” is an Honeycomb Style Lockscreen for Android 2.1+ Devices. I tried this on my Nexus One running CM7 and after a few ideas by me, i send the Developer an email to improve this app, Version 1.4 is on Android Market since yesterday.

The Video that the Developer uses on Market was created by me.

This Project is still under development. Feel free to track this App and try ti help the Developer to improve it more and more.

One thing, I really love about the MIUI roms is the gallery app. No 3d-effects or blurry animations – just how it should be: Easy and fast.

After I switched backed to the latest Cyanogenmod 7 I really missed this app and kept waiting for an hour to load all my wallpapers, icons and fotos. The stock gallery may look nice and is something you can show off at iPhone users, but when you got plenty of images on your sd card – like I do, this app can be really annoying.

While I was looking for an alternative app in the android market, I found “Picturen Lite” – the fastest gallery app, I have ever seen.

The apps design is similar to the HTC Sense gallery. It scans your SD card for images (currently no videos supported) and displays it in single folders. Thumbnails are generated right away, which makes the handling much easier.

Today I would like to present a very usefull Android app: Kakao Talk.

Just install it, set up your profile with your phone number and email – so your friends can find you. The app will now scan your contacts for Kakao Talk users and you are ready to go.

It feels a bit like an SMS/MMS application, but without costs – as long as you have a data plan or using it on wifi, because it sends the messages over the network.

Additional features are Push Notification, Group chats, sharing multimedia files (like videos & pictures), automatic restart…

On my device, Kakao Talk replaced all SMS/MMS to my Android Contacts.
