Recently I was workin on a theme for the current MIUI-Rom, but then I lost interest very early. The only thing, managed to get my satisfaction is my new lockscreen design.

bluenazgul’s CyanogenMod7 for Wildfire

Hey,

I present you @HCDRJacobs CyanogenMod7 for your HTC Wildfire. Its only a bit modded by me.

Note: This is still an alpha (nightly) build, so dont report bugs and except support. Use it on your own risk. We know whats broken. If only want the latest cm feature and no gps (atm we work on a fix) stay on official cm7 nightly’s.

Credits:
- @cyanogen and #teamdouche (for the hard work on CyanogenMod)
- @HCDRJacob (for his great work on the CM Vendor for the Wildfire)
- @attn1 (for provide @HCDRJacob is own maschine to work on CM)
- golfben.de (for hosting my own build)

Overview:
This build is based of the github.com source of CyanogenMod and the buzz vendor from @HCDRJacob (sync time is the same as the buzz_nightly #0) all later builds including nightly #5 have non working gps, but we work on a solution to get it working again.

The only differents are:
1. I use the libgps.so from a 2.1 Sense rom
2. I use the propetary files from my Device running an early testbuild of CM7
3. We dont know why, but atm this is the only build with working GPS

I build it myself with a lot help from @HCDRJacob to get the repo working on my Netbook (Samsung NC10) running Ubuntu 10.10) .
The buildtime on my NC10 was around 5hours , a long time.

(This pack uses a CM7 feature called “packman” it downloads the gapps from market – NOTE: if you dont live in USA maybe you need to fake your location to “T-Mobile US” using “Market Enabler” to see the “Google Mail” app in Market)

Full MDPI Gapps
(i found them on an Gingerbread ROM for the HTC Legend – works perfect on HTC Wildfire)

Google Translate Update

The latest version of the Google translate app, brings the future to our android devices: realtime translation.

When I first saw “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy”, I really liked the idea of the bable fish – which’s invention and realisation seemed to be far away.
But the new conversation mode of Google Translate brings us a step ahead.

Google Translate (in german market: Google Übersetzer) is avaliable at the Android market.

More Information >>

In this video you can see a presentation of the new conversation mode of Google Translate:
